The 6th Five Words International Poetry Competition for 2018-2019, run by O’Bheal in County Cork, has been won by Mary Anne Smith, and the shortlist includes not only the current Canterbury Festival Poet of the Year Derek Sellen, but also two former holders of the post: Gill Laker and Steve Xerri. Mary Anne, Derek and Gill are all active members of SaveAs Writers.
